Cat Detector

These were some experiments in detecting our cats via their implanted RFID chips, in hopes of creating a controlled feeding environment based on which can is attempting to access their food (in other words, a diet).

A load cell is attached the bottom of the platform to record the weight of the food, and the hoop is an antenna that connects to a transceiver to decode their unique RFID. The data is then passed to HomeAssistant, where it can be graphed and alerts can be made.
